Once files are uploaded to the IPFS peer network, they are accessible throughout the network by their unique content address.
Each file is stored with a unique content address based on its contents, not its file name. Each file is stored once, returning the same address each time.
Use IPFS content addresses to keep files synced, opening the possibility for desktop and mobile apps that all have access to the same files.
Start experimenting with IPFS - a key technology for building decentralized web apps.
