Leverage your branding and status page functionality right inside your Heroku error and maintenance pages. Setup consists of adding the add-on setting a couple environment variables.
Users experiencing your maintenance or error page will get your real-time status and can optionally click through to your bona-fide status page for full information, the ability to subscribe to get further updates, etc.
